ORLANDO - Delora Lynn Robertson, 54, of Winter Haven, Fl died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Orlando, FL.

Born July 26, 1952 to Ellen (Dietch) & Paul Babcook in Burlington, IA. Delora graduated from Burlington High School in 1971 and married Roger Robertson Sep. 29, 1972 in Burlington, IA. She moved with her family to Winter Haven, Fl from Iowa in 1987 and was a bus drivers assistant for the Polk co. School Board , helping disabled children. Her loves included, horses, motorcycle riding, fishing, camping and a passion for music and ministering. . She and her husband, Roger, enjoyed ministering to the senior citizens in nursing homes throughout Polk County. She also enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Burlington, IA.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, and Foster Parents, Merle (Boze) and Marge Williford and one nephew.

Survivors include her 3 children, Justin, Mandy and Clinton, all of Winter Haven; her sisters, Paula (Lennie) Marsh of Washington, IL, Goldie (Tom) Knight of Middlefield, Conn.; A brother, David (Irene) Babcook of Burlington, IA; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, Fl 33881. Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Friday, March 2, 2007 in the Ridge Community Church in Dundee with Pastor Steve Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
