Davenport, Florida - Mr. Anthony Richard Proia, Sr. of Davenport died Friday, February 16, 2007.
He was 76.

Born to Sosio Proia and Mary Maranucci Proia on September 9, 1930 in Watertown, Massachusetts, he moved here 15 years ago. He was a retired Mechanic in the United States Navy, a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the V.F.W.
He was Catholic by Faith.

Mr. Proia is survived by his wife, Doris Mary Scordamalyia Proia and son, Anthony R. Proia, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Mary all of Davenport, Florida.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Graveside Services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
