APOPKA - Patricia O'neal Garrett, age 93 of Apopka, Florida died Sunday, February 11, 2007. 

 

A graduate of Florida State College for Women, she taught school and was a legal secretary, as well as doing volunteer work with the Red Cross, Winter Haven Library, church library and PTA. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, Delta Delta Delta Collegiate Sorority, a retired member of Gainesville Junior League, Polk County Scottish-American Society and Coca-Cola Alumni Association.

 

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Garrett, and brother, William O'neal,  she is survived by her son, Lawrence H. Garrett of Apopka, daughter-in-law, Nancy Garrett; grandchildren, Sarah Garrett, Jennifer Burns, Robert Burns; nephews, J. Patrick O'neal and Alfred Shuler.

 

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1 PM at The Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1410 Dundee Road, Winter Haven, Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
