HAINES CITY, Florida - Mrs. Ruby Ellen Edelstein of Haines City passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in Davenport. She was 69.

 

Born to Grant Vance and H. Irene Norman Vance in Pueblo, Colorado on July 14, 1937, she came here from Connecticut in 1992. She was a Registered Nurse, she was the Head Nurse at the University of Connecticut Health Center Pediatric Outpatient Center for 15 years, she was Past Matron, Order of Eastern Star, Newington Chapter and a member of Hope Unites United Church of Christ in Orlando.

 

She is survived by her husband, Noah Edelstein of Haines City; son, Harry Edelstein; daughters, Edith Hurst, Debra Howson, Beth Gingras and Dawn Dwyer all of Connecticut; brother, Grant Vance of Montana; sister, Roberta Rood of Connecticut and six grandchildren.

 

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Clubhouse at Lake Hammock Village in Haines City. Reverend Linn Possell of Hope Unites United Church of Christ in Orlando will officiate.
