Reverend Carroll was born to Jack Carroll and Edna Mae Hawkins Carroll on October 10, 1926 in Huntsville, Alabama. He became an ordained Minister in 1957, he Pastored seven churches in Alabama and Florida before retiring in 1998. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1947.

Reverend Carroll is survived by his wife of sixty two years, Eunice Brock Carroll; son, Jim Carroll and wife Judy; daughter Cindy Jacoby and husband Dan; brother Howard Carroll; grandchildren, Alicia Pope, Stacy Hill and husband Michael, Christina Carroll, Denise Hagen and husband Willie, Jaime Carroll and Michael Jacoby and wife Barbara; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Zoe, Laura, Heather, Korey, Jade and Milik.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Memorial Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Davenport, Florida. Dr. Robert White and Reverend Rick Brown will officiate.
