He was born on March 1, 1937 in Allentown, PA and moved to Winter Haven in 2004 from Orlando. He owned and operated David Brown Construction; he was a member of Masonic lodge #150 from Heath, Ohio.

He is survived by his son Steve Brown of Orlando, Fl; daughters, Debra Cheney of Winter Haven, Fl, Janet Harris of North Bend, WA, Joanna Aggelakos of Atlanta, GA, Kali Brown of Orlando, FL; brother, LaRoy Brown; sisters Ernestine Schmoyer, Nancy Bensten, Linda Weber, Lois Rosencrant, Kathleen Shelton, Sheilah Mason, Betty Colmery; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 14 nephews and 4 nieces. His sisters, Jeanne Reiss and Louise Barnhart, preceded Mr. Brown in death.
