THE HAMPTONS – Barry A. “Bear” Landmark, 71 of the Hamptons in Auburndale, passed away from cancer Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Minneapolis, MN, born August 25, 1935, and was a graduate of Central High. Barry moved here 3 years ago from Minneapolis. He was a retired from archiving at Advanced Records/Burnett Title. Barry was a Lutheran, was formerly in the Naval Reserve and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter Lynda Preston and his parents Violette and John.
He is survived by his wife Barbara A. Landmark of Auburndale; his son: Jeff (Michelle) Landmark of Minnetonka, MN; his daughters: Lori (Darrell) Phillips of Rochester, MN, Lisa (Keith) Hustad of Lakeville, MN, Lori Matthews-Watt of Lees Summit, MO, and Michelle (Guerry )Harris of Austin, TX. and a brother, Peter (Sharon) Landmark of Burnsville, MN. Barry also has 5 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 1 great grandson, and 1 great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home chapel.
A celebration of life will be held at the Hamptons clubhouse on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions can be made to the Lakeland Regional Cancer Center, 3525 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33804.
