Born to Harley Bussewitz and Frieda Ott Bussewitz on June 25, 1922 in Lowell, Wisconsin, moved here from Palatine, Illinois in 1978, teacher with Dodge county School System in Wisconsin, member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by husband William Colburn;

She is survived by sons, William A. Colburn and Robert J. Colburn of Lake Wales; daughter, Lorie Elliott Denver, CO; brother, Robert Bussewitz, Reeseville, Wisconsin; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
