WINTER HAVEN - William F. (Bill) Newbill, 67 passed away due to heart failure on Friday, February 02, 2007.

He was born in Galesburg, Illinois on Dec. 3, 1939 he came to Winter Haven, Florida in 2002.

Bill worked in machining for 20 years for Outboard Machine Corp., in Galesburg, IL. He then worked, until retirement, for Ashland Oil managing stores. He was recognized for his ability to achieve any goal that he set and to meet any challenge head on.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sherry Anne Newbill, daughters, Michelle and David Blair of Morton, Illinois and Ann Marie and Carl Guillen of West Chicago, IL. Four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. William is also survived by his brother, Gene Newbill of Galesburg, IL and nieces

Mr. Newbill was a member of the First Christian Church in Galesburg, IL.

William was a loving, caring person, whose wife was his best friend, his children were his pride and joy. His granddaughters and their hugs encouraged him through his illness to keep going. He loved his neighbors, who had become a extended family when he moved to Florida.
