| | Effie R. Bruce HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Effie R. Bruce of Haines City died of heart failure Monday (Aug. 28, 2006) in Haines City. She was 93.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on May 13, 1913, she came to Haines City from Spring Hill three years ago. She was a retired restaurant owner and operator.
Mrs. Effie is survived by her granddaughters, Debbie Matera, Davenport, Cathy Glatthar, Hayesville, N.C., Barbara Brown, June LaCroix, both of West Palm Beach, Sheryl Cope, North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held later.
