KISSIMMEE -- Mr. Phoenix Braithwaite of Kissimmee died of injuries sustained in a traffic accident Wednesday (Aug. 2, 2006) in Osceola County. He was 24.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Aug. 10, 1981, he came to Kissimmee from Fayetteville, N.C., in 2003. He was a police officer for the Haines City Police Department. He was an Army veteran. He was a Catholic.
Mr. Braithwaite is survived by his wife, Ivette Braithwaite; daughter, Breanna Braithwaite, Kissimmee; brothers, Brandon Braithwaite, Bud Braithwaite; sister, Destiney Braithwaite; mother, Linda Rodriguez, Salt Lake City.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at North Ridge Church of Haines City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
