POLK CITY -- Mrs. Charlotte D. Patterson of Polk City died of heart failure Thursday (July 20, 2006) at Good Shepherd Hospice at Palm Terrace. She was 89.
Born in Chicago on Nov. 13, 1916, she came to Polk City from Winter Park in 2005. She was a bookkeeper for Borden's Dairy. She also worked for Sears and the Miami Shipyards. She attended Chicago School of Business. She was a member of R.S.V.P.
Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, John Willington Patterson. She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn P. Smith, Polk City; son, Michael Patterson, Port St. Lucie; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park in Miami.
