John James "Jack" Wuchter
Born 10/2/21 in Allentown, PA to Pauline and Stanley Wuchter. Mr. Wuchter played football on the 43-44 and 1945 teams for West Point. He graduated from West Point in 1945 and served in the Philippines and Korean wars where he received the Bronze Star Award. He retired from the Army in 1953 and then worked for Exon Research Engineering Co. retiring in 1974. He and his wife, Jean moved to Cape Coral, FL in 1975 and moved to Grenelefe, Haines City in 1999, where he enjoyed golf and building model planes. Jack and Jean enjoyed 62 years of marriage.
He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his 3 daughters, Joanne and Chris Dolan of Haines City, Paula Johnson of Holmdel, NJ and Pam and Robert Nankervis of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; 3 grandchildren, Sean Wuchter Dolan, Ryan Dolan and Corinne and Seamas Flagg; 6 great grandchildren, Malorie, Madison, and Makenzie Dolan, Ryan Dolan and Kaitlynn And Kayla Flagg all of Cape Coral.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday 10/02/07 from 2-4 pm with services at 4 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City .
