DAVENPORT, FLORIDA - Ruth E. Lehman, of Davenport, Florida, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 Crossroads Nursing home in Davenport, Florida. She was 76.
Born on January 12 1931 in Hernando, Florida to Samuel Sylvester VanNess and Gertrude Eileen Myers VanNess, she moved to this area in 2005 from Wahneta, Florida. She was a seamstress.
Preceded in death by her husband and daughter Montaray Duncan, she is survived by sons, Cecil Sylvester Naylor of Old Town, Florida, Douglas Dale Naylor of Inverness, Florida; daughter, Linda Stone of Kissimmee, Florida; half-sister Onzelow Heard of Orlando, Florida; nine grandchildren and twentyfour Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. graveside at Martin Van Buren VanNess Cemetery in Inverness, Florida. Mr. Chris Rushton will officiate.
