WINTER HAVEN - Marion Loretta Martin, 75, of Winter Haven, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at her residence after a lengthy battle with lymphoma.
Born November 7, 1931 in Waverly, Florida to Alton and Edna Anderson Hendricks, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the West Winter Haven Church of God and was retired as a lab technician for Coca-Cola Foods . She was also an avid pilot and a member of the Winter Haven Flight Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Tyron Clide Martin and Menez Alton Claude Martin.
She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Clide Martin; five daughters, Tanya McGill of Oklawaha, FL, Tymisha Longest of Plant City, FL, Lavonia Martin of Lakeland, FL, Natasha Martin of Auburndale, FL and Talanda Goodwin of Lorton, VA; twelve grandchildren ; 9 great-grandchildren; and close family friends, Jo and Russell Colvin.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Monday (today) at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the West Winter Haven Church of God , 1727 34th St. NW, Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
