Henry E. Bowman

 

LAKE WALES -- Mr. Henry E. Bowman of Lake Wales, Florida died Thursday, September 6, 2007, in Auburndale, Florida. He was 88.
Born on October 10, 1918 to Rily and Cora Green Bowman in Coffee County, Alabama, and moved from there in 1950 to Haines City, Florida and in 2001 he moved to Lake Wales, Florida.  Mr. Bowman was employed in the fruit industry and was a disabled US Army Veteran serving during W.W. II, he was also a member of First Christian Church of Babson Park, Florida.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Magdalene Bowman; he is survived by his  wife, Helena K. Bowman of Lake Wales, Florida; sister, Mammie Lou Crook of Pensacola, Florida; sister-in-law, Sara Parrish of Dundee, Florida; nephews, Larry Parrish of Fort Gaines, Georgia, Terry Parrish of Haines City, Florida; and niece, Bridget Williams of Winter Haven, Florida.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. and the funeral services will be Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Reverend Ronald Ashire of First Christian Church of Babson Park, Florida officiating.
