AUBURNDALE - Benjamin “Benny” Thomas Parrish , 71, of Auburndale, Fl died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Auburndale Oaks Nursing Home due to pneumonia.  

Born October 26, 1935 in Tampa, FL to Enoch and Frances Louise Parrish, he moved to Auburndale 28 years ago.  He was a retired Plant Manager for Dial Corp in Auburndale and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a  member of: Winter Haven Masonic Lodge #186 F & AM; Trident Club of Tampa Bay; American Legion Post #8 in Winter Haven; the Winter Haven Moose Lodge # 1023; and the 82^nd Airborne Division Assn.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ben is survived by: his beautiful and loving wife of 33 years, Margaret Parrish; 2 sons, Mark Parrish of Tampa, FL and Samuel Parrish of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; 2 daughters, Wendy Parrish of Winter Haven and Anna Marie Torres of Auburndale; a brother, Donald Parrish of Tampa; and 8 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, Fl.  Masonic Services will be held during this time.  In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in his memory to the Winter Haven Masonic Lodge # 186, 375 Ave. A, SE, Winter Haven, FL 33880.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
