WINTER HAVEN - Donnie Edward Lee, 63, of Winter Haven, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born January 10, 1944 in Screven, Ga he moved to Winter Haven eight years ago from Gainesville, FL.  Don was a barber and had worked at Bills Barber Pole in Winter Haven.  He was of the Protestant Faith, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy , and a former pastor at Faith Christian Church in Minnetonka, MN. 

 Don is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Woods Lee and his father,  Wilton Lee.

 He is survived by:  his mother, Louise Brown Lee of Winter Haven; 3 sons, Christopher Lee of Winter Haven; Neil Akre of Columbia, SC and Eric Akre of Minnesota; a daughter, Elizabeth Tucker  of Winter Haven; two brothers, Andy Lee of Malaga, Spain and Jim Lee of Lakeland, Fl; a sister, Janice Swafford of Easley, SC; and four grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Monday, September 3, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel with Rev.
