Raymond Arthur Stebbins
 

WINTER HAVEN - Raymond Arthur Stebbins, 91, of Winter Haven died, Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Heart Failure. 

Born June 8, 1916, in Springfield, MA he moved to the area in 1959.  Mr Stebbins Built two mobile home parks: Palm Shores Mobile Village and Grove Shores Mobile Colony.  He owned and operated Grove Shores Mobile Colony in Winter Haven with his Son, Richard.  He was a contractor, electrician, and plumber who built homes in Miami Beach for many famous and influential people. A hard working man all his life and very rarely found a task that he could not accomplish with determination and grit.   He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty six years. Irene and one son, Richard Stebbins of Winter Haven. Also, surviving two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel, 2425 Havendale Blvd., NW, Winter Haven.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the services at Lakeside Memorial Park.
