SAVANNAH, GA - Shirley D. Brandon, 82 died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in Savannah, GA due to Alzheimers Disease.

 Mrs. Brandon was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Dorr.  She and her husband, Joe Brandon of whom she was preceded in death owned Joe Brandon Jewelers and Silversmith in Winter Haven. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Winter Haven where she resided for over 70 years before moving to Savannah three years ago.  She served as past president for a local P.E.O. chapter and was a member of the Garden Club.

 Mrs. Brandon is survived by her son, Skip Brandon and his wife Sylvia of Savannah; daughters, Barbara Zimmerman and her husband Tom of Savannah and Carol Cott and her husband Ron of Topeka, KS; sister-in-law, Nan Dorr; niece Sally Botkin and nephews, George and Charlie Dorr.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm till 5:00pm, Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, Oct. 29, 2007 in the Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Canon Timothy J. Shaw.  Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
