Esther Baker



DAVENPORT - Esther Baker, 87, of Davenport, closed her eyes and peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 at Haines City Health Care Center from heart failure.

She was a Florida native born September 13, 1920 and resided the last 57 years in Davenport. She worked at Davenport Grocery for over 30 years and was of the Baptist faith and devoted her life to caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Baker. She is survived by son, Robert Bradford and wife, Gail of Haines City, son Terry Baker and wife Martha of Bethlehem, Ga., step-daughter, Martha Harry of Carlisle, Pa., sister Essie Register of Haines City, grandchildren: Sabrina Sweet, Robert Brandford Jr. and wife Tabitha, David Baker; two step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM. Friday at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Fl.
