  William V. Taylor   
William Taylor
HAINES CITY -- Mr. William V. Taylor, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2007, at his residence. He was 89.
Mr. Taylor was born November 17, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Caroline Palmer Taylor. He moved to Haines City in 1957 from Chicago, where he had worked as a Milkman delivering from door to door. Upon moving to Florida he purchased and operated Gulf Oil Service Station in Haines City and several other stations for twenty years. During those years he was also employed with Polk County School Board as a bus driver. He attended Westwood Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Haven. He was a member of Coachman R.V. Travel Club, member of Ole Friends R.V. Club, and a member of the Moose Lodge of Winter Haven.
William is predeceased by his first wife Jewel D. Taylor and his son, Ronald W. Taylor. He is survived by his wife Doris Taylor; son, William A. Taylor and his wife Nancy of Haines City; daughter-in-law, Shirley Taylor of Haines City; step children, Larry Tarbox, Mary Lee Vlajic, Clifford Tarbox, Robert Tarbox, and Bonnie Johnston all of Pennsylvania; brother, Walter Taylor of Carson, Nevada, seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2007 from 1-2 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida with Minister Howard Budden officiating..
