LAKE WALES -- Mr. Rodney C. Moon, Sr. of Lake Wales, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 51.

Born to Hank Moon and Alice Hendricks Moon on October 28, 1956 in Plant City, Florida he was a lifelong resident of Polk County. He was a truck driver for Bowen Brothers. He was Baptist by Faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rodney is survived by his companion, Tammy Martin of Lake Wales; son, Rodney C. Moon, Jr., of Maryville, Tennessee; daughters, Miranda and Kelsi Moon of Lake Wales; and brother, Kenneth Moon of Ohio.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Dr. David Myers of NorthRidge Church will officiate.
