DUNDEE, FL - Edwin "Eddie" A. Carden, 53, of Dundee, FL passed away November 18, 2007 in Winter Haven, FL due to heart failure.

He was born March 13, 1954 in Saginaw, AL and moved to Dundee 23 years ago from Lake Wales, Fl. Eddie was a retired police officer with the Lake Hamilton Police Department; a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Dundee Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Melinda Carden; mother, Gladys Carden of Babson Park, FL; children, Richard Carden, Christine Carden both of Dundee, Fl, Katrina Ferrell of Texas, Sandra McCollough, Barbara Carden both of New Orleans, LA, Rachell Wilson of Nashville, TN; brother, Jerry Carden of Babson Park, FL; sisters, Vivian Sharpe of Babson Park, Dorothy Baily, Barbara Stevens both of Nashville and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City and funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 pm at the funeral home.
