WINTER HAVEN - Rita Jo Montague-Roberts, 54, of Winter Haven, passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at her residence due to cancer.

Born June 5, 1953 in Washington, D.C. to Joseph and Rita Purvis-Montague, she has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a member of the Winter Haven Church of God and was the Director of Kiddie Korner Preschool where she had worked for the last 20 years and touched the lives of many children.

 Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by: her mother, Rita Montague Botner; her brother, Gary Luther Montague; her sister, Debbie Montague Potter and  husband Jeff ; 2 nieces, Ashley Jo Potter and Betsy Lea Potter; and a nephew, Donovan Seth Potter, all of Winter Haven.

 The family will receive friends from 5:30pm till 7:00pm, Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., NW Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at the Winter Haven Church of God, 675 Avenue E, SW, Winter Haven, with Rev. Joseph Heard officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
