HAINES CITY - Frank R. Kenney, age 86, of Haines City, FL, died June 28, 2007 in Davenport, FL. due to heart failure.

Born January 18, 1921 in Mapleton, ME, and has been a winter resident of Haines City since 1984 and permanently moving here in 2000 from North Haven, CT. He was a potato farmer in Aroostook, County, ME; he owned & operated State Road General Store in Mapleton, ME; he retired from Pratt & Whitney of CT. Frank was a member of First Baptist Church of Davenport & a long standing Masonic Brother.

He is predeceased by his wife Glennys Gregg Kenney in 1999; he is survived by his companion, Kathryn Love of Haines City, FL; children, Janice & Henry St. Hilaire of Wallingford, Ct, Neil & Kathy Kenney of Andover, CT; brother, Linwood Kenney of Washburn, ME; sister, Arline Knight of Chapman, ME; grandchildren, Eric Higgins, Mel Higgins, Justine Kenney & 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held today at 4 pm at First Baptist church of Davenport.  An inurnment will be held in the summer at Chapman Cemetery.
