 Harold C. "Pete" Hall, Jr.

Harold "Pete" Hall. Jr.

WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Harold C. "Pete" Hall, Jr. died Friday, June 8, 2007 at his home. He was 80.

Born to Harold C. Hall, Sr. and Norine Atkinson Hall in Spring Garden, Virginia on March 21, 1927, he came to Florida from Danville, Virginia in 1958. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII, he owned and operated Hall's Service Station until 1975 and then went into the Citrus Grove Business. He was a dedicated member of Dundee Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher for 44 years.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jewell Hall Owen. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ellen Callahan Hall; son Walter D. Hall, Sr. and wife Cindy; daughter; Emily Hall Rizer and husband, Rollin; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Dundee Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Bullington and Pastor Don Yates officiating . Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
