HAINES CITY - Lelia Mae Rhoton, age 84, of Haines City, FL, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in Winter Haven, FL. due to heart failure.
Lelia was born August 18, 1922 in Spears Ferry, VA, and moved to Haines City in 1955 from Virginia. She was a sectionizer working for Citrus World, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Lelia is survived by her sons, Gene Hamson of Tennessee, Charles H. Harrison of Haines City, David Rhoton of Davenport; daughters, Venus M. Bailey, Iva L. Elam, Betty L. Rhoton, Sandra K. Wilson all of Haines City; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Her daughter, Glenda Bosley precedes her in death.
Visitation will be Saturday June 9, 2007 from 1-2 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with services immediately following at 2 pm.
The family has asked that memorials may be made to Church o Christ, 1232 Robinson Drive, Haines City, FL 33844.
