HAINES CITY - Marie Katherine Caldwell, age 80, of Haines City, FL, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at her residence due to colon cancer.
She was born October 31, 1926 in Haines City, FL, and has been a lifelong resident of Haines City. Marie was a homemaker, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 68, Haines City, and of the Baptist faith.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herman E. “Chicken” Caldwell, her mother, Mary Waters; step-mother, Luddel Waters; father, Dessie Waters; sister, Margie Stephens; brother, James Waters; and she is survived by her children, Pat Kasper of Orlando, FL, Rhonda Anderson of Haines City, and Ernie Caldwell of Haines City; sister, Judy O’Neal of Haines City; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday 6/9/07 at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Fl.
