AUBURNDALE - Harvey “Steve” Smith, 62, of Auburndale died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Congestive Heart Failure.
Born March 29, 1945 in Gadsden, AL, he moved to the area in 1964 from Alabama. He was a Marketing Supervisor for Anderson News Company; was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Winter Haven; and loved fishing, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
His parents, 2 brothers and a sister precede him in death.
Steve is survived by: his wife of 33 years, Shirley A Smith; a son Donovan Smith of Atlanta, GA; 2 daughters, Kelly Whitman of Auburndale and Pam Siewert of Clermont, FL; and six grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Stone Smith, Jessica Sanders, Ryan Whitman, Garrett Wattles and Brett Siewert.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, Fl . Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Gagnon officiating. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
