WINTER HAVEN - Dorothy Louise Beckett, 81, of Winter Haven, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Renal Failure.

 Born April 28, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana she moved here in 1951 from Illinois.  She was a retired secretary for W.R. Grace and was of the First Christian Church Faith.

 Mrs. Beckett was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Beckett in 2005; her son, Harold Jones, Jr.; and a stepdaughter, Sandy Ledford.

 She is survived by: a daughter, Shelley Jones Vermillion of Winter Haven; a stepson, Charles F. Beckett, Jr. of Sevierville, TN; and a stepdaughter, Renee Rothrock of Bartow, FL.; Seven Grandchildren; and Eleven great-grandchildren.

 Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, July 30, 2007 in the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., NW, Winter Haven, Fl with Deacon Wayne Saylors officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the funeral.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.  Condolences may be sent to www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
