DUNDEE, Florida - Mary Shannon, age 77, of Dundee, Florida, died on July 21, 2007 at Lakeland Hills Center in Lakeland, Florida.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Wesley Barton Jones and Alma Camie Norsworthy Jones on October 26, 1929. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Shannon. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Mann, Malabar, Florida, Larry Mann, Collinville, Illinois, Jerry Mann, Winter Haven, Florida; Sisters, Virginia Driver, Grant, Florida, Ubadene Reese, Huntersville, North Carolina; Grandchildren, Angela Mann, Camie Mann, Kristina Mann and Wesley Mann.

Visit will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida. Funeral  services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
