DAVENPORT - Charles Burlin Williams, 81, of Davenport, FL, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center due to Heart Failure.
Born October 13, 1925 to Harry and Anna Moss Williams in Martinsville, MO, he has been a resident of Davenport since moving here in 1991 from Exeter, RI. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Haines City; a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans; and Winnebago International. He was a Veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Brown & Sharp and Quonset Naval Air Station in RI before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; and his wife, Edith A. (DiMeo) Williams.
He is survived by: two sons, Frank C. Williams of Hamden, CT and Daniel L. Williams of Exeter, RI; two sisters, Betty Harris and LaVesta Tosh, both of Denver, CO; and three grandchildren Robert Williams, Dawn Sutfin and Randy White. Five great grandchildren Nicholas Williams, Kristen Williams, Kyle Sutfin, Emily Sutfin and Colt White.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday July 17th 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church of Haines City.
