| | Katherine “Kitty” Glasscock Gillis HAINES CITY - Katherine “Kitty” Glasscock Gillis, age 69, of Haines City, FL, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center due to heart failure.
Mrs. Gillis was born January 28, 1938 in Huntington, TN. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and her husband, Harmon Gillis.
Kitty is survived by her loving family: 3 daughters, Angela Gillis of Davenport, FL, Julie and her husband Buddy Bryant of Greenville, FL, Vicki Gillis Schaible of Davenport, FL; brother, Charles and his wife Patsy Glasscock of Auburndale, FL; granddaughter, Melissa and her husband Eddie Brown of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren, Noah and Emily of Knoxville, TN.
Visitation will be Thursday 7/12/07 from 10-11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be immediately after at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to American Heart Assoc. or the American Stroke Assoc.
