| | John Conrick  WINTER HAVEN - John Conrick, age 81, of Winter Haven, FL, died Friday, June 29, 2007, in Auburndale, FL.
John was born August 13, 1925 in Ridgefield Park, NJ, and moved to Winter Haven in 1973 from California. He retired as a Tech Sergeant from the US Air Force after serving 23 years, while in the Air Force he was a co-pilot and worked on minuteman missiles. He also owned and operated John’s Vinyl Top in Winter Haven for over 17 years. John attended St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and was a member of the 4th E.R.S. Rescue Squadron during W.W. II and continued to attend reunions after the war.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Conrick of Winter Haven; son, John Michael Conrick III of Fredericksburg, VA; daughter, Susan Klosterman of Winter Haven; grandsons, Jim Dezso, Mike hooker; granddaughter, Melonie Andrade; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 7/3/07 from 12-1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will follow immediately afterwards at 1 pm at the funeral home.
The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, Fl 33823.
