Lake Alfred - Robert "Bob" Joseph Hoobin, 62, of Lake Alfred died Sat., Dec. 29, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center in Auburndale, FL.

Born August 16, 1945 in Boston, MA he moved to the area in 1974 from Foxboro, MA.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL; a member of the Lake Alfred Lion Club and the Lake Alfred Little League. 

Bob is survived by: his wife, Eileen Hoobin; a son, Shawn Hoobin of Lakeland, FL; 3 daughters, Melissa Neff of Quicksburg, VA, Amy Teaster of Savannah, GA and Shannon Abdoney of Lakeland, FL; and 7 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, January 4, 2007 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made in his name to  Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
