LAKELAND - JoAnn  "Jodie" H Behrends, 79, of Lakeland, FL died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center in Auburndale due to respiratory failure.

Born Feb. 19, 1928 in Peoria, IL she moved was a retired Librarian from the Peoria Public Library.   She moved to Lakeland 25 years ago from Perry, GA.

 She is survived by: 2 sons, Douglas John Behrends of Clarksville, GA and John Behrends of Atlanta, GA; 2 daughters, Susan Peterson of Radium Springs, NM and Ramona Tyson of Athens, GA; 2 sisters, Mary Eichhorn of Galesburg, IL and Gee Gee Bartimus of Aurora, CO; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
