HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Linda G. Hammond of Haines City, Florida died Friday, December 28, 2007, in Auburndale, Florida. She was 60.

Linda was born in Keith West Virginia on September 27, 1947 to Willie and Evelyn George Yeager, and moved to the area in 1989 from San Antonio, Texas.  Mrs. Hammond was a manager with Fast Payday Loans in Lakeland and also had worked as a floral designer for several years. She was a member of Second Chance Ministry of Winter Haven, Florida.

Preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patsy Morgan, she is survived by her husband, Felix Hammond; daughters, Elissa Motter of Davenport, Florida, Christie Tang of Minneola, Florida; brothers, Jerry Yeager of St. Albans, West Virginia, Bill Yeager of  Milton, West Virginia, Frank Yeager of Hurricane, West Virginia and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2-3 p.m. and the funeral services will be Sunday, December 30, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
