James "Jimmy" Burnett
POLK COUNTY, FL - James "Jimmy" Burnett, 62, passed away December 25, 2007 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born June 9, 1945 in Dundee, FL, he grew up and lived most of his life in the Polk County area. His favorite past time was hunting and fishing, and he had a few good ones to tell about.
He is survived by his son, Jay Burnett of Plant City, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday December 29, 2007 at 1 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. You may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service.
The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent via www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
