LAKE WALES, Florida - Mrs. Ruth Martin of Lake Wales died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was 86.
Born October 1, 1921, in Louisville, Kentucky, to George Hass Dreher and Nora Mae Fertig Dreher, she came to this area 14 years ago from Hollywood, Florida. She was a homemaker and grew up in the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roger Lee Martin.
She is survived by daughters Romona Boss of Culloden, Georgia, Wanda Martin of Hilo, Hawaii, Kathryn Gombas of Lakeland, Florida; sons, Robert Martin of Davie, Florida, George Martin of Lake Wales, Florida, Phillip Martin of Lake Wales, Florida; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida with Chuck Fisher officiating.
Final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
