BRIDGEVILLE, DE - Katherine Dunford Willin, 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December10, 2007 after a struggle with cancer.
Katherine grew up in Dundee, graduated from Haines City High School and in 1946 moved to her husband’s home in Bridgeville, Delaware where she was a homemaker and office manger for Scott’s Furniture Company in Bridgeville. After retirement, she returned to Dundee where she was a faithful member of Baptist Temple.
Katherine was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Eva Dunford of Dundee; husband, Caleb Layton Willin II; daughter, Kathryn Victoria Willin; grandson, Paxton Kaufman Smoot; and sister, Bernice Evelyn Stubbs. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryll Lee Willin, Berkeley, CA; son, Caleb Layton Willin III (Mike & Sandy), Laurel DE; two brothers Ralph Dunford and Raymond (Annabelle) Dunford of Dundee, FL. Additionally, Katherine is survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and great friends who loved her dearly.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 15th at Baptist Temple, Dundee, FL.
