HAINES CITY, FL - Olga A. Thurman, 95, died December 8, 2007, at Haines City Health Care due to natural causes.

She was born in Miami County, Indiana on January 1, 1912 to Earl H. and Lora A. (Butt) Boswell. She attended Marion Business College, Marion, Indiana, and worked as a secretary for several years.

On April 13, 1941, she married T. Edgar Thurman, also of Marion. During their 66 years together, they have resided in Marion, Frankfort and Warsaw, Indiana, and Sun City, Arizona. In 1989 they relocated to Florida where they have resided in Sun City Center, Lakeland, and Winter Haven where they lived at Spring Haven Retirement Center. With declining health they moved to Haines City Health Care, Haines City, Florida, in November of this year. She was a member of the Beymer United Methodist Church in Winter Haven and a 50-year member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, daughters, Mrs. J. William (Margaret) Strange of Haines City, Florida and Mrs. Kenneth (Diana) Hitch of Nunn, Colorado, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. Memorial services are pending.
