HAINES CITY, FLORIDA – Miss Dione Mae Allen of Haines City was taken from her family by illness on August 20th. 2007 at the Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, Florida.
She was a sweet, vibrant 19 year old.
Born October 2nd, 1987 in Dallas, Texas, she moved to this area from Indianapolis, Indiana with her family in 1997. Prior to her illness, she had graduated from haines City high school in 2006, then perused her “dream job” of being a lifeguard at the Nickelodeon Family Suites in Orlando. She had a passion for helping others, music and dance, and was active in animal rights.
She is survived by her mother and step-father: Mary and Billy Kraning, father: Darrell E. Allen, Jr., brothers: Darrell E. Allen III, Brett J. Allen, Derek M. Allen all of Florida; grandparents: Katherine Mae Casto of California, Ronald and Sharon Flohr of Indianapolis; Willadean Kraning of Indianapolis, sister-in-laws: Jennifer, Josette, Casandra, close friend: Joshua Teague, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends that will miss her dearly.
