AUBURNDALE, FL - Mary Agnes Sheppard of Auburndale, FL, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was 85 years old.
A native of Atmore, Alabama, Mary moved here 24 years ago from Pensacola, FL. She was a retired secretary from Monsanto Corporation in Pensacola, and she was a member of the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church of Lakeland.
Her husband: Homer E. Sheppard, Sr., and her son: Homer E. Sheppard, Jr. predeceased her. Her son survives Mary: Wayne D. Sheppard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother: Alex Bell of Sylva, NC; and one sister: Essie Smith of Fayetteville, NC.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
