HAINES CITY, FL - William Finley Horton age 79, of Haines City, Fl. passed away July 24, 2007 in Asheville, N. C. from dementia.  

Mr. Horton was born in Ludlow, Kentucky the son of Robert Elton & Effie (Farmer) Horton.  He had moved to Haines City, Fl in 1962 where he had taught in the Polk County Schools. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Haines City; Winter Haven Moose Lodge #1023 and the Winter Haven Masonic Lodge #186 F. & A M.   Mr. Finley was a graduate of Florence High School, Florence, Ky.  and Georgetown University, Georgetown, Ky. 

Survivors:  Daughter Sandra Horton Wilson, Cosby, TN.

Friends will gather for fellowship from 4 to 5 PM Monday (8/20) and  a Memorial Service at 5PM.  the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Fl.
