WINTER HAVEN - Lydia Ann Davey, 87 of Winter Haven, FL, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Winter Haven Health and Rehab due to complications from Alzheimers Disease.  

Born August 8, 1920 in New Britain, CT to Henry and Anna Essel, she moved to Winter Haven in 1968.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a homemaker.   Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Maurice Davey, she is survived by: 3 sons, Ronald Davey of Winter haven, FL; Norman Davey of Lakeland, FL; and Robert Davey of New York; a daughter, Maurine Lindquist of Massachusetts; a brother, Hubert Essel of Massachusetts; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.  

Funeral Services will be at 10am, Saturday , Aug. 11, 2007 in the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven, FL 33881 with Pastor John Koczman officiating..  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.  

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made in her name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
