ORLANDO - Shawn Lee Nylen, 35, of Orlando, Fl died Friday, August 3, 2007 at his residence. 

Born March 23, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska  he moved to Florida 20 years ago, living in Winter Haven for 10 years before moving to Orlando 10 years ago.  He was of the Lutheran Faith and worked at Too Jays Restaurant in Orlando. 

 Shawn is survived by: a son, Tyler Ray Hansen of Sarasota, FL; his mother, Donna Karlovich of Lake Wales, FL; Step-father, George Tony Karlovich of Lake Wales, Fl; father, Mark Nylen of Iowa; Maternal Grandmother, Sheila Durbin of Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois; Paternal Grandmother, Carolyn Nylen  of  Land O Lakes, Florida ; a brother, Richard Nylen of Erie, Colorado; a sister, Stacy Nylen of Winter Haven, Florida; four step-brothers, George Karlovich, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; Louis Karlovich of Downers Grove, Ilinois; Dean Karlovich of Land O Lakes, Wisconsin; and James Karlovich of Glendale Heights, Illinois; and two step-sisters, Beth Karlovich of Villa Park, Illinois, and Sheila McKeown of Hanover park, Illinois; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm till 3:00pm, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Boulevard, NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881.  Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to a charity of your choice.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
