Rev. William F Broadway

WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Reverend William "Bill" F. Broadway, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale. He was 73.

Born on July 22, 1934 in Crenshaw County, Alabama, to Johnny Julian Broadway and Bertha Mae Deavers Broadway, he moved to this area in 1962 from Luverne, Alabama. He was a retired Baptist Minister who had pastored numerous Southern Baptist Churches in Florida. He was a Korean War Veteran.

Reverend Broadway is survived by his wife Sue of 52 years, son Jeffrey Broadway of Lake Hamilton, Florida; daughters Judy Ricks of Eagle Lake, Florida and Lenora Burnett of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers Hayward, Johnny, and Billy Broadway, all of Alabama, sisters Wilma Bush, Edna King and Evelyn Armstrong all of Alabama, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Monday, August 6, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, with Pastor Jerry Herman, Pastor Tim Williams and Pastor Ed Howell officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
