WINTER HAVEN, Florida - Roy Wayne Tiner, of Winter Haven, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa.  He was 64.

Born on June 8, 1934 in Haines City, Florida, to John Henry Tiner and Lucille Pope Tiner, he was a lifelong resident till moving to Winter Haven five years ago. He was the owner and operator of T. & T. Harvesting, Haines City.  He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U. S. Marines. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the American Legion Post 54 in Haines City.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Heath Tiner in 2003 and is survived by his sons, David W. Tiner of Lakeland, Florida and Jason Tiner of Davenport, Florida; mother Lucille Paris of Haines City and five grandchildren.
 

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.  Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM. Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, with Sam Conley officiating.  Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
