KISSIMMEE - Palma H. McLaughlin, age 81, of Kissimmee, FL, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Haines City, FL.

Born March 11, 1926 in Rutland, VT to John and Emma Lertola Combatti, and moved to Kissimmee 6 years ago from Tampa, FL. She was a loan officer for City Corp Bank retiring after 14 years of service; she was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church of Haines City, FL and St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Rutland, VT. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, Class of 1944.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McLaughlin Sr. and infant son, Richard McLaughlin and she is survived by her significant other, Claude Griffin of Kissimmee, FL; children, Karen Kinder of Williamsburg, VA, Donna Marino of League City, TX, Robert McLaughlin of Palmer, AK, Ernest McLaughlin Jr. of Foster, NE, Ann Klavin of Fairfax, VA, Jacqueline Vick of Coral Cable, FL, Margaret Skidmore of Lutz, FL, Thomas McLaughlin of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Mary Maniery, Helen Stapleton both of Rutland, VT, Margaret Lottman of Beatrice, NE; 28 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
